How can I get my scooter to stay running after a long sitting time?
-2001 Honda Scooter
-125cc engine
-Sat for 6 years
-4 stroke
-cleaned carb
-cleaned fuel filter
-new air filter
-drained gas
-new premium gas
All this done but still it will start initially with starter fluid, then die after about 2 min. It will stay running with an additional spray, but I know its bad for the engine.
Please help!!

New air filter and adjust the carb settings.
If it sat, you might just need to get it out and ride it.
Does it smell like it is running rich? You might need to adjust fuel/air mixture.
Other than that, it’s a 125cc scooter. I wouldn’t expect much out of it. If it’s worth it to you, you can try taking it to a shop.
