Honda Scooter max speeds?
Can anybody tell me what the max speed is for the Honda Elite 80, Metropolitan and Ruckus scooters?
And estimated insurance for a 20 y/o female with 3 speeding tickets over the last 3 years?
Thanks!

Max speed on these little bikes also depends on the weight of the rider. If you are petite you should be able to get an extra 10mph over a heavier male rider.
Cost of insurance varies depending on where you live. In my state (Connecticut), the Metro and Ruckus would not require insurance but the Elite would.
I can tell you a little that might help depends on your weight and your trinkets and or treasures with you.
I have a friend with a Honda Metropolitan He has had a Metropolitan 1 and 2 the 1 is faster, for his weight and carry load he can do about 32-35 fairly flat ground, wide open. He does not have insurance and from what he has found out no insurance is required here 50cc and under.
I have a friend that works for Honda and didn’t care for the Rukus.
Insurance depends on the state, most states any scooters under 50cc don’t require insurance, some have grey areas in the law ultimately leaving it up to the cop weather you are required to have insurance.
Hope this helps a little!
Most of the smaller scooter top speeds are determined by computation with a design rider load of around 135 pounds.
As a result, most have top speeds in the 35-45 mph range, which can be verified at the Honda scooter website:

As for the insurance, your age and driving record determine your costs and watch out for the deals that sound too good to be true, they usually are.
